This year's talk is being held at Tonbridge Parish Church Upper Lounge on Saturday 28th January, 7.30-10.00 pm. This year we are looking forward to hearing one of our members Charles Rosenmeyer speak on “The opera singer, the diplomat and the lawyer” – which tells how in 1930 a chance friendship between a famous Frankfurt singer and a British diplomat helped save a German Jewish family from the Nazis. Entrance fee is £5 for members, £6 for non-members, payable on the door. Refreshments will be available. Please encourage friends and family to join us for an interesting evening.
