Summer Outing to Titsey Place 2018

Our summer outing this year is to Titsey Place, near Oxted. Titsey Place was successively the seat of the Gresham and Leveson-Gower families and is now preserved by a charitable trust. The house has its origins in a 16th-century house, built by Sir John Gresham on the site of an older one. The lovely gardens are well worth a visit especially in Spring and Summer. The walled garden is a treasure trove of fruit, vegetables and flowers. The Coffee shop is lovely for a relaxed cake & coffee and allergy-free options are available. The house is interesting with some wonderful Canaletto paintings.

Please let Eileen know by the end of June if you intend to come along.

Further details about Titsey Place (entrance times and fees, facilities) can be found on our Links page.
