was established by the Heusenstamm Friendship Circle as a sensitive way to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the end of the Second World War in 1995.
The aim of the Fund is to enable young people, resident in or educated in Tonbridge & Malling, to become aware of and take part in activities with their counterparts in and around Heusenstamm. This is achieved by making grants as recommended by schools or organisations to deserving young people, and by arranging local activities which will engage their interest in our twinning link.
The future of twinning lies in the hands of our young people, and we should do all we can to encourage them in every way we can.
